Enquire about WildsideThe experience
The Wildside Trail lies on Flores Island in Clayoquot Sound, within the traditional territory of the Ahousaht First Nation. Our developing three-day journey is conceived as a long-weekend guided hiking experience with a wilderness camp and time to experience this coastline without rushing.
We are still refining access, route logistics and the way this experience will be offered. Final plans will be developed with appropriate permissions and arrangements; nothing on this page should be taken as a confirmed itinerary or booked departure.

Your journey
Placeholder itinerary: This is a conceptual three-day outline, not an approved route schedule. Access, campsites, distances, activities and timing remain to be confirmed.
Meet for the arranged journey to Flores Island. After a guide briefing and introduction to the area, begin a coastal walk and settle into a designated overnight arrangement, subject to permits and logistics.
Spend the day exploring sections of the Wildside Trail at an unhurried pace, with opportunities for interpretation, observation and shared discussion. The route and walking distance will depend on the final tour design and conditions.
Enjoy a final morning on the trail before returning via the agreed transport arrangements. Departure and return points will be confirmed before any trip is offered for sale.
Price and inclusions
Final inclusions and pricing are still being developed. We anticipate guided hiking and coordinated logistics, with details of transportation, meals, camp arrangements and equipment confirmed when the trip is formally launched.
There is currently no published price and no live Checkfront product for this developing trip.
Before you go
Guests who enjoy walking on natural coastal surfaces and experiencing the changing rhythms of forest and shoreline.
Travellers interested in a long-weekend wilderness experience rather than a full-length backpacking expedition.
